Friendly, kind and deeply caring, Michael Seward enjoys meeting patients, answering questions and helping them feel comfortable. Born in New Jersey, Michael grew up in North Carolina and Georgia. He enjoys fixing things, whether performing eye surgery or restoring a 120-year-old Victorian farmhouse in Michigan, where he used to live. Michael and his wife Jannike, a Ph.D in special education, reside in Anchorage with their snow-loving dog, Toby.
