Born in High Point, North Carolina, Dave grew up in several small towns throughout the state. He enjoys snow skiing, hiking, camping and working in his yard. Dave and his wife Barbara, a mental health counselor, reside in Chehalis, Washington. They have two sons—Zachary and Matthew.
