Case Study—Joe Pfeifer, OD

56 years old with history of hyperopia and spectacle wear, cataracts, otherwise unremarkable ocular and medical history, type B personality, likes to golf and desires less dependence on spectacles at all distances, complaining of gradually diminishing vision at distance over the past few months.

Joe is extremely pleased with the visual outcome in each eye and only periodically uses reading glasses for very fine print. He’s excited about his new range of clear vision and loves being able to go through a whole weekend without glasses. Joe now claims to be the Bionic Man!
