The amount of astigmatism correction achieved with LASIK and PRK is similar.
On average patients achieved almost 1 line of improvement in VACC.
There is a trend of slight undercorrection that could be caused by variances in astigmatism axis measurement.
On a 1 to 5 scale, patients rated their day and night time vision significantly better compared with corrected vision before surgery.
Overall, we are pleased with these outcomes.
